Arisza has been in my kennel for 4 years. She came to us by air as the first of my dogs from Ak-Nukker kennel. When I saw her for the first time, I thought to myself: My childhood dream about a beautiful dog has come true. Her puppy beauty made a really positive impression on all of us. We took a fancy to her straightaway. She was distinguished both by her beautiful, characteristic colour as well as her self-assurance. Welcome home, you are ours- Arisza heard from me as if she understood what I was saying. Having dealt with all the formalities we went to Arisza's new home. Sitting close and looking at all of us, she was slowly getting familiar with the situation that was totally new for her. We were getting to know each other through stroking and hugging. I highly recommend this way of the first contact with the puppy to all of these that are going to buy one. It bears desirable fruit in the future, helps the puppy to adjust to the new surrounding and the group of dogs it joins as well as diminishes the level of stress connected with going into a new place. I am absolutely sure that the warm greeting influenced Arisza very positively at that time. Every single minute we were earning her trust. She getting used to us slowly but steadily and finally started to show her interest in what was happening around. We had our eyes riveted to each other. I am certain that every CAO can make a great use of its inborn intuition and the ability to assess the situation properly. Arisza was observing everything very carefully although being so little. All of the factors such as changing the place, the owner, the surrounding, the flight, the city traffic, the travel in my car made the situation a sudden jump into civilisation. Chasing carelessly in the meadows of Samara, the next day she was made to tackle what was going on around in completely different conditions. And she did it, which is typical for an indigenous CAO. Experts on kynology consider this kind of dogs to disappear from one generation to another. Being bred only for the purpose of the dog shows, they lose their most valuable features.
In front of me I had a puppy that tackled the new situation bravely thanks to its inborn, high intelligence, well developed throughout the ages. Arisza's behaviour was very correct and showed no symptoms of stress and annoyance. She foultlessly found us as creatures that wre friendly-minded to her. Deliberation and calmness are the typical features of the guard dogs that impress me most. When I used to read either in books or in magazines about the human-animal friendship, I considered it a literary fiction, something unreal. My further observation of CAOs, their customes and lives helped me believe in the friendship and understand them better.
Arisza is an example of a female which observation in her daily situations from the beginning of her stay in my kennel, influenced me to a great extend. Every contact either with a new or a newly born puppy means a large amount of positive emotions. Each of them is different and it seems that I slowly start to understand and assess them more properly. All of the time devoted to my dogs and my kennel is of a great importance to me. The most important however is the fact that I have no feeling of wasting my time and I am indeed doing what fascinates me entirely and in a very possible way.
But coming back to Arisza. Today I am still placing her highly in my kennel. Her head differs form other dogs' ones. It is shorter but at the same time better muscled. I have noticed it influences the jaw pressure. The beef bones which Arisza crunches with ease may be the illustration of how it works. The conclusion also might be that long heads do not have such a pressure. This type of a short head could have appeared as a characteristic feature of Arisza's ancestors. It is easier to hunt with such strong jaws and use them to break bones, cut tendons, tear skin to get to the tasty entrails of wild animals.
In my opinion Arisza has got the best features of her great ancestors, their abilities and virtues. It is a fit, light female of an amazing speed and shrewdness. Her launch can be compared to a speed of a lightning. This is how fast she can be. A persistant runner and a great sprinter- tough no matter how long the distance is. Certainly the most frisky female in the paddock and during the walks. As for a bitch of this size, Arisza is a volcano of energy as well as a ringleader when it comes to racecourse chases. There she is free to do whatever she wants to. Arisza is a master of a beautiful move which is absolitely beautiful to be looked at. She is a precious female for me and I feel a special affinity with her.
She gets on well with other dogs of mine. Arisza does not cause any problems in the group and at the same time enjoys its respect. She violates neither the rules nor the spece of other dogs and reacts properly in various situations she comes across. If necessary, Arisza knows her place or tackles the enemy firmly. The best features of hers in such moments are her unbending courage and bravery, however she always tries to minimalise the risk and rarely tends to behave differently than that.
I place Arisza very highly in the plans of my kennel's development since she is a living extension of her legendary ancestors' lives and embodies the most valuable features of the guard dogs. Her exhibition talent has been repeatedly awarded. Under my daughter's leadership, Arisza has gathered numerous prizes on dog shows. Unfortunately their ways diverged and have not rejoined as yet. I am sure that it gave both of them a very difficult time and prevailed over Arisza's future exhibition career. Nobody has beeh capable of leading her up to success since then as my daughter has. I think she is the best out of my females when it comes to appearance however a dog needs to be born with all these predispositions and the beautiful, smooth move. Arisza's wisdom is of a great support and importance for the group of my dogs. She eagerly participates in the group's life and passes on it all of the exemplary, typical behaviours of this breed so that the growing puppies behave similarly, make all together a big dog family. I am proud of them all and thank both God and nature for creating such amazing dogs as CAOs.
