Hummer's sudden death and moving Akbakar to another kennel caused a change in my plans. Fortunately it was then Paytar that came to Winnickie Wzgórze and good luck came with him. It was a stimulus to get down to intensive work and preparing the new puppies. Everyday Paytar as well as other dogs are let out to the paddock where they do the morning exercises. The puppies chase, train and frolic cheerfully there. They burn excessive fat, build up the muscles, develop their fitness and physical strength this way. There are no identical dogs in my kennel. Each of them is different. One is more enterprising, another one hot-tempered and fast yet another shy or aggressive. The sharpest dogs tend to dominate, they are more privileged than other dogs . Paytar is a dog with a hellish temper. He has got lots of humour and willingness to play. It is a young, curious dog looking for females everywhere he can. His neighbour , Barhan, who is the captain of the group today, has been teaching him good manners and proper behaviour from the very beginning. He is a great source of dog habits and his behaviour gives examples to be followed by others dogs of mine. When the boss is resting, Paytar does not interrupt. The only thing he can do is wait for Barhan to let him know he is ready to play. In such moments the way they communicate is seen the best. How they do it is however a secret to me. For the puppies and the teenage dogs it is a very good show and a school of the social system in the group. They learn how the functions and particular dogs' positions are divided. The ones that do not obey these rules are going to receive a punishment which I do not influence at all.

Paytar is planned to be brought up as a conscientious sentry of the group and the terrain, especially as he has displayed a lot of eagerness and zeal to cooperate. I pay much attention and devote lots of time to make him prepared to commune with people outside and get to know the surrounding. The more time he spends outside the kennel the faster his self-confidence and the ability of coping with various situations increases . When facing the outside world he was very cautious however that caution was entirely justified. It is seen Paytar is not skittish but ready to work any time. Paytar is very easy to work with. I can even say that the work is going on superbly, just as expected. Full of positive emotions, Paytar behaves perfectly and deals with every task given even though " guiding " any young dog with such a bright character having the makings of a working dog may turn out to be complicated for somebody. The inborn features and the decisive character is a result of the genetic continuity of Ak- Nukker kennel, even though their dogs live and function in an absolutely different culture. The most important task now is to instil in him that strength and the ability to overcome the fear of the modern technology which is going to surround him everyday. That ability will help him to tackle the outside world calmly as well as make sure this world is not cruel at all. During such trials and moments many difficult and risky situations appear. The first days however showed Paytar did not escape from anything. What is more I have noticed he has the makings of a promising show dog too. It is a diligent and determined learner who overcomes difficulties with ease. These constant observations have tightened our cooperation. Paytar understands very well the signals I give to him, paying attention to everything I try to teach him. I have made a graet effort to make him tolerate people outside and I can see now it brings the results I wanted to achieve. As his owner I do not feel up to changing his indigenous nature as there have been many errors commited when it comes to dogs' upbringing. More than one thing have got out of control and a few breeds have been spoiled because of human striving for success at all costs. I really care about Paytar's responsibility and his temperate aggression deprived of any herd instincts. At the same time I do my best to keep all of his aptitudes of a working dog. I put a lot of effort not to change his psyche and make it remain entirely faithful to the wonderful breed's character. Domestic animals have been under our power for ages and we should try to make the best use of the fact. There are many example that little can be done by force and against their nature. Even though Paytar has got all of his ancestors' features, he needs to be a contemporary dog, being able to live in the up-to-date civilistaion. His forefathers were being naturally prepared to survive in the merciless conditions. What is more he carries the genes of Ak-Nukker kennel, a leader when it comes to the dogs' utility. I am aware Paytar represents a line that has never bounded to anything except for its owner and his family members. That is why everything I do is for the sake of Paytar's first shows and there is a lot to be done about it.
The first contact with the show hall was organised not to be of a shock to him. Dog shows are expected to win their hearts and minds but my experience shows it is extremely difficult. The first and at the same time the most important test was the show in Nowa Ruda. I was not sure if Paytar would not got rebelled against entering the hall full of people and other animals. Even if it had happened so I wold not have been able to hold a grudge against him as this kind of behaviour is probable and within the norms of a dog behaviour. Entering the hall was a crucial moment for Paytar. I was observing very carefully the way he was behaving. At the beginning he felt like a bridegroom going down the aisle but after a couple of seconds everything went smoothly but then another test came . Going onto the ring I realized I would face a judge who was going to decide what a typical CAO was to behave like, even though he might see a CAO for the first time in his life. Nevertheless it was a great challenge and a test of what I had been teaching Paytar so far. Before the show in Nowa Ruda, Paytar was very anxious but then things went according to the way we had planned it. He looked presentable and what is more, both Paytar and Plushka were praised for their equable bahaviour. This is the reason why I hope my effort will allow to tame their wild characters. At the same time I want to be perceived as a breeder apprecitaing both the guard dogs' utility as well as the good job they make on the shows. I am aware a lot of time will have to be spent on it. I am proud of what I have learned and experienced so far and I really want my dogs to feel self-confident wherever they are. I would also recommand to make use of this experience and the knowledge I have gained so as to keep judiciousness when it comes to taming and working with CAOs. I wish everybody all the best in such work with them as the stake is always very high :)
